Screenplay Bank Slugfest For 2008 Submissions

Date and Time:

December 7, 2006
6:30pm - 8:00pm

Location:

The Dean's Conference Room, 12th Floor

You have a wonderful idea for a screenplay? Then you must enter a log-line in the next edition of the Screenplay Bank! Before you do that, you want to make sure your log-line makes sense, is intriguing, and gives the reader a sense of your protagonist and his/her story purpose in a simple, economical and exciting way. The goal is to get a call from an industry executive who wants to read your work! Participants must come to "class" prepared to improve your log-lines. The instructor and your Tisch colleagues will make suggestions so you may improve your calling card to the industry. Bring some ideas to this prep-fest; let's have fun, and help you on your way! The administrative deadline to give us your log-line for the next edition of the Screenplay Bank is Friday, February 23rd, 5pm. This seminar will be conducted by Robert Honor, Director of Career Development & Adjunct Screenwriting Instructor.  Presented by the Office of Career Development at the Tisch School of the Arts.
