Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA) is offering a seminar touching on areas that effect screenwriters and filmmakers: intellectual property, contracts and the right business structure for independent productions. Since 1969, VLA has been the exclusive provider of pro bono legal services, education and advocacy to the New York arts community. This workshop will be conducted by the Director of Legal Services for VLA, Alexei O. Auld, Esq. Presented by the Office of Career Development at the Tisch School of the Arts.
