The Dean's Conference Room, 721 Broadway, 12th Floor

This seminar is designed for emerging individual artists and arts organizations to address the crucial issue of raising money to support their creative endeavors. It is led by Ms. Arwen Lowbridge, TSOA Class of '97. She began fundraising for the arts when she founded The Temenos Ensemble Theatre in Orlando, FL and has focused on development for emerging arts organizations for the last six years.  Arwen currently works full time as the Program Director of Fiscal Sponsorship at Fractured Atlas, serves as the Development Consultant for Richard Foreman's Ontological-Hysteric Theater and is the Resident Grant Writer for the Orlando International Fringe Festival. Select grants she has written resulting in awards include: the New York State Council on the Arts, Bank of America Foundation, United Arts of Central Florida, William Talbot Hillman Foundation, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, The William T. - Who gives money to the arts, why do they give it, who gets the money and how do I find it?
- What are the differences between individual and institutional giving?
- What is fiscal sponsorship and how can it help me?
- What do I need to submit a grant proposal?
