Workshop: Understanding the World of Voiceover Agent Representation
Johnna Gottlieb was a successful talent agent specializing in voiceover representation in New York City for eleven years and now runs her own busy consulting company. During her eleven-year career as a voiceover agent, she had the opportunity to work at the top talent agencies for voiceovers and has represented the most successful voiceover talent in the business. As a consultant, Johnna helps actors achieve successful careers by imparting her years of experience as an agent to them. In addition to teaching seminars, she counsels actors individually to help them have a better understanding about the business side of the industry. This seminar will include: An overview of the voiceover industry, an explanation about the different areas of voiceovers, an explanation about voiceover reels, scale voiceover talent vs. celebrities, voiceover classes and voiceover coaches, and talent agencies that specialize in voiceovers.
