The parents and friends of NYU student Robert Ungar have made gifts that launch the new Legacy Scholarship Fund. Ungar was a talented photographer who traveled widely, and his parents donated to Tisch as a memorial to their son to assist Tisch students with financial need. "My husband was the recipient of a scholarship at the NYU Law School, when we had a small child and he had just come out of the Navy, and law school would not have been possible without this money. We hope these gifts help a young person with talent develop to become someone in the arts," said Pauline Ungar.
The Legacy Scholarship Fund includes listings of the names of those honored and memorialized, and the income will support students in all departments of the School. For more information, please contact Fred Bush.
